- Conversation History: Your conversations with the AI assistant
- Achievement Progress: Your badges, streaks, and milestone data
- Dhikr Counter Data: Your tasbeeh counts and history
- Feedback & Support Messages: When you contact us via the in-app feedback system
2. Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Operating system version, device model, and app version for troubleshooting
- App Usage Data: Features used and screens visited (for improving user experience only - no third-party analytics)
3. Information We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect:
- Email addresses or passwords (no account required)
- Payment information (handled by Apple)
- Contacts or photos
- Browsing history
- Any personally identifiable information beyond what's listed above
How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to:
1. Provide Core Features:
- Display accurate prayer times based on your location
- Personalize greetings, reports, and achievements with your name
- Save your bookmarks, mood entries, and conversation history
- Track your spiritual progress (streaks, badges, weekly reports)
2. Improve the App:

- Understand which features are most valuable
- Enhance user experience
3. Respond to Feedback:

How We Store Your Information
Local Storage (On Your Device)
The following data is stored locally on your device only using AsyncStorage:
- Your name
- Bookmarked content
- Mood entries
- Conversation history with AI
- Achievement progress
- Streak counts
- Dhikr counter history
- App settings and preferences
This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently deleted.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may process data:
Anthropic (Claude API)
- Purpose: Powers the AI spiritual guidance feature
- Data Shared: Your messages/questions sent to the AI

Aladhan API
- Purpose: Provides accurate prayer times
- Data Shared: Your location coordinates (latitude/longitude only)

We do not use:
- Any third-party analytics services
- Any crash reporting services
- Any advertising networks

Location Data
How We Use Location
We collect your location only to:
- Calculate accurate prayer times for your area
- Display the correct prayer times in your timezone
Location Permissions
- You will be asked to grant location permission during onboarding
- You can deny this permission, but prayer times will not be accurate
- You can revoke location permission anytime in your device settings
- We use coarse location (city-level), not precise GPS coordinates
- Location is not tracked continuously - only accessed when calculating prayer times
Location Storage
- Your location coordinates are not stored on our servers
- They are only sent to Aladhan API to fetch prayer times
- No location history is maintained
AI Conversations
User Consent Required:
Before any chat data is sent to Anthropic, the app shows an in-app consent screen the first time you attempt to send a message. You must tap "I Agree, Continue" for any data to leave your device. If you decline, no data is shared with Anthropic and the AI chat feature cannot be used.
How It Works
When you send messages to the AI assistant (after granting consent):
- Your message and supporting context are sent to Anthropic's Claude API
- The AI generates a response based on Quran and Hadith
- The conversation is saved locally on your device only
- We do not store or have access to your conversations on our servers

What Data Is Sent to Anthropic
- Chat messages: The text of each message you send
- First name: If you provided one during onboarding, used for personalised replies
- Recent chat history: Recent messages from this device, sent as conversation context so the AI can reference past discussions
- Today's mood entry: If you have logged a mood today, it is sent so the AI can respond appropriately to how you are feeling
- 7-day mood summary: A brief summary of mood patterns from the last 7 days, sent for emotional context
What Is NOT Sent to Anthropic
- No account or user ID (the app has no accounts)
- No email address or phone number
- No location data or GPS coordinates
- No contacts
- No device identifiers (IDFA, advertising ID, etc.)
- No payment or subscription information
- No prayer time data
- No Dhikr counter history
Your Conversations Are Private
- All conversation history is stored locally on your device
- We cannot see, access, or retrieve your conversations
- Deleting the app permanently deletes all conversation history
- You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting the app and reinstalling, or by clearing app data
Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information:
- Local Storage: All personal data is stored locally on your device using secure AsyncStorage
- Encryption in Transit: All API requests use HTTPS/TLS encryption
- No Cloud Storage: We do not maintain databases of user data
- Minimal Data Collection: We only collect what's necessary to provide core features
- No Third-Party Access: Your data is never sold or shared with advertisers

- No method of electronic storage is 100% secure
- You are responsible for securing your device
- If your device is lost or stolen, locally stored data may be accessible

You can delete all your data by:

Data Deletion Requests
Local Data: All conversation history and mood data stored on your device is automatically deleted when you uninstall the app.
Data Sent to Anthropic: If you want to request deletion of chat messages sent to Anthropic for AI processing, please email us at adal.nawaz001@gmail.com with your request. We will forward your deletion request to Anthropic within 7 days.
